Yes. Medix biomedical engineers carry out pre-installation site assessment, delivery and positioning, assembly and installation, functional and acceptance testing, and formal handover with documentation. Installation is included as part of the supply of major equipment rather than treated as a separate purchase.
Yes. Medix provides preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, fault diagnosis, calibration support and genuine spare parts through its in-house biomedical engineering team. Annual maintenance contracts are available, covering scheduled service visits, priority fault response, agreed parts terms and documented service history.

We only represent manufacturers whose equipment we can install, maintain and source genuine spare parts for locally.
Yes. Medix supplies matched reagents, test kits, controls and laboratory consumables for every analyser it sells. Reagent continuity is treated as part of the supply relationship, because an analyser without its reagent stream cannot produce results.
Yes. Medix supplies national referral hospitals, government hospitals and county health facilities alongside private hospitals, faith-based facilities, laboratories, clinics, medical training institutions, NGOs and research institutions. For public procurement, Medix provides itemised quotations, manufacturer authorisation letters and the compliance documentation tenders require.
No. Pricing is issued by formal quotation because equipment price depends on configuration, quantity, delivery location, warranty terms and installation scope. A published figure would be wrong for most buyers. Submit a quotation request and you receive an itemised quotation with lead times and terms.
It depends on whether the configuration is held in local stock or ordered from the manufacturer. Stock items can be delivered quickly; manufacturer orders follow the production and shipping cycle. Confirmed lead times appear on every formal quotation, and delivery is scheduled with your facility so installation fits around theatre or laboratory workload.
Yes. Medix supplies healthcare facilities across East Africa, including Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, Burundi. Cross-border supply includes documentation for import and delivery scheduling to the facility.
In many cases, yes — particularly for brands we represent. Contact our technical team with the make, model and serial number and we will confirm whether we can obtain parts and service that unit. Where we cannot support it properly, we say so rather than taking the work.
Yes. For public and donor-funded procurement we provide itemised quotations, manufacturer authorisation letters, compliance documentation and specification support. Tell us the tender reference and requirements when you request the quotation.
Yes. Annual maintenance contracts cover scheduled preventive maintenance visits at agreed intervals, priority response when equipment fails between visits, agreed terms for parts, and documented service history your facility can present at inspection.
Where the reagent system is one we stock, we can usually supply regardless of who sold the instrument. Send the analyser make and model and we will confirm compatibility.
