C601 Automatic Coagulation Analyzer

The C601 is the mid-throughput model in the automatic coagulation range, running 200 PT tests an hour against the C600's 300, across the same eight measurement channels. For a laboratory whose haemostasis volume does not justify the larger machine, it offers the same test menu at a throughput matched to the workload.

It reports the routine haemostasis panel — PT, APTT, TT, fibrinogen and D-dimer — alongside antithrombin III and other factor assays, and performs automated APTT and PT mixing studies, the reflex investigation that distinguishes a factor deficiency from an inhibitor without a technologist setting it up by hand.

Sample handling is automated end to end: 30 sample positions across three racks, with auto-dilution, auto-retest and auto-reflex for abnormal samples, so a result outside range is repeated or extended without waiting for someone to notice it. Multi-wavelength optical technology drives clot detection, and ready-to-use liquid reagents remove the reconstitution step.
