These 22 x 22mm glass cover slips are laid over a specimen on a microscope slide to flatten the sample to an even thickness, protect the objective lens from contact with the mount, and stop the preparation drying out during examination. The thin, optically clear glass is ground to a consistent thickness so it sits within the working distance and correction range of standard achromatic objectives.
Supplied 100 to a pack for single use, they are consumed continuously in microbiology, parasitology, haematology, and histology work.
