Overview
This handheld glucose meter measures blood glucose from a small drop of capillary blood drawn by lancet and applied to a test strip, displaying the result on an LCD within seconds. It is used for bedside monitoring on wards, in emergency and outpatient departments, in diabetes clinics, and by patients managing their condition at home. Stored readings with date and time support review of glucose trends between visits, and the compact, battery-powered body travels easily in an outreach bag.

Medix East Africa supplies the glucose meter with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
