Mission handheld haemoglobin meter for rapid point-of-care anaemia screening.
Overview
The Mission haemoglobin meter measures haemoglobin concentration from a small capillary or venous blood sample applied to a test strip, returning a result in seconds without a laboratory analyzer. It is widely used for anaemia screening in antenatal clinics, blood donor sessions, outreach and school programmes, and general practice, where an immediate result determines whether a patient is treated, deferred, or referred.
The meter stores previous results with date and time, runs from batteries for field use, and is supplied for use with its matched Mission haemoglobin strips.
Medix East Africa supplies the hb mission meter with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
