HemoPro handheld haemoglobin meter giving a photometric haemoglobin result at the point of care.
Overview
The HemoPro haemoglobin meter reads a filled microcuvette photometrically and reports haemoglobin concentration within seconds, giving clinics an accurate result without sending the sample to a laboratory. Because the cuvette meters a fixed sample volume, operator technique has little effect on the reading, which makes the system well suited to high-volume screening by rotating staff.
The meter stores previous results with date and time and runs from batteries for outreach work, serving antenatal clinics, blood donor sessions, paediatric clinics, and general anaemia screening.
Medix East Africa supplies the hemopro hb meter with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover.
