Overview
Cuffed endotracheal tubes are placed through the mouth or nose into the trachea to secure an airway and deliver ventilation during general anaesthesia, resuscitation, or intensive care. The inflatable low-pressure, high-volume cuff seals the trachea, preventing aspiration of gastric contents and stopping gas leaking back around the tube, while a pilot balloon shows cuff inflation at a glance.
Depth markings, a radiopaque line, a Murphy eye, and a standard 15mm connector are typical features. Supplied sterile and single-use across the full range of internal diameters for adult and paediatric patients.
