Overview
Surgical shoe covers slip over ordinary footwear to stop dirt, dust, and contamination being carried into an operating theatre, laboratory, or other clean area, and to protect the wearer’s shoes from fluid splash during a procedure. Made from lightweight non-woven fabric with an elasticated opening, they pull on and off quickly at a changeover point and fit over a wide range of shoe sizes.
Supplied in bulk for single use, they are a routine part of theatre attire alongside scrubs, caps, and masks.
