The Combimax series electrosurgical generator brings standard monopolar and bipolar output together with advanced vessel sealing and an argon plasma coagulation system in a single unit, so a theatre can cover open and endoscopic work from one generator. It seals vessels up to around 7mm in diameter with seven selectable ligation levels and audio-visual confirmation of a completed seal, and its tissue-monitoring circuitry adjusts high-frequency current and voltage in real time against changing tissue impedance.
It suits theatres running gynaecological, thoracic, urological, and hepatic procedures alongside general surgery.
Medix East Africa supplies the diathermy combimax with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
