Drip Stand
Height-adjustable stainless steel IV drip stand on castors for hanging infusion bags and bottles.
Overview
A drip stand holds infusion bags and bottles above the patient so gravity drives the flow through the giving set, and gives a mounting point for infusion and syringe pumps where fitted. The telescopic centre column adjusts through a wide height range and locks with a knob, letting staff set the correct head of pressure for the infusion, and the hooks at the top take several bags at once.
A weighted five-castor base keeps the stand stable while it is wheeled with the patient, making it standard equipment on wards, in theatres, and in ICU.
Medix East Africa supplies the drip stand with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
