Overview
This laryngoscope is used to visualise the vocal cords and guide endotracheal tube placement during intubation, a core airway-management tool for anaesthesia, theatre, emergency, and ICU teams. It comprises a handle housing the light source and battery, plus interchangeable blades (typically curved Macintosh and straight Miller styles in a range of sizes) to suit different patients and airway anatomy.
Built for repeated use with standard reprocessing between patients, it’s a routine item on any anaesthesia trolley, crash cart, or theatre airway set.
Medix East Africa supplies the laringoscope with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
