Overview
This electric suction machine draws secretions, blood, vomit, and irrigation fluid away from a patient through a catheter or Yankauer handpiece, using a twin-jar collection system so a full jar can be changed without stopping the procedure. An adjustable vacuum regulator and gauge let staff set the negative pressure appropriate to the patient, and an overflow safety valve protects the pump from fluid ingress.
Mounted on a wheeled trolley base for movement between beds, it serves theatre, ICU, emergency, and ward use where sustained high-volume suction is needed.
