5-litre loop disinfectant for chemical disinfection of the dialysis water distribution ring main and machine loops.
Overview
This 5-litre loop disinfectant is used to chemically disinfect the ring main that carries purified water from the treatment plant to the dialysis machines, along with the machine loops themselves. Biofilm forms readily in a water distribution loop and is a source of endotoxin that can pass into the dialysate, so scheduled disinfection is a required part of any dialysis unit’s water quality programme.
The concentrate is dosed into the loop, circulated for the specified contact time, then flushed and verified as clear of residual before treatment resumes. Supplied in a sealed 5-litre container.
