Overview
This CT printer produces hard-copy diagnostic films from a CT scanner or PACS workstation using a dry thermal imaging process, so no chemicals, darkroom, or plumbing are required. It connects over DICOM print, taking studies directly from the modality or reporting station and laying out multiple images per sheet according to the selected format.
Dry film output is ready to read as soon as it leaves the printer and is dimensionally stable for archiving and for issuing to referring clinicians. It suits radiology departments and diagnostic imaging centres that still issue film alongside digital reporting.
