Overview
Dry imaging film produces diagnostic hard copies from X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies using a thermal printer, with no developer, fixer, darkroom, or plumbing involved. The image is formed by heat rather than chemistry, so films come out dry and ready to read immediately, and there is no chemical waste to handle or dispose of. The blue-based polyester film gives the density range and dimensional stability needed for diagnostic reading and long-term archiving.
Supplied in sealed boxes in the standard radiographic sizes for hospital radiology departments and imaging centres.
Medix East Africa supplies the dry imaging x ray films with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
