I50Overview
The i50 is a fully digital, black-and-white portable ultrasound system built around a 12.1-inch high-resolution monitor and double-waveform imaging for clear B-mode images. Its compact, streamlined housing and built-in battery support point-of-care and bedside scanning, with optional trolley and carry-case accessories for units that move between rooms or sites.
Features such as transducer auto-freeze protection and multiple built-in measurement packages support general abdominal, obstetric, and small-parts scanning in clinics and general-practice settings where a full colour-Doppler cart system isn’t required.
Medix East Africa supplies the i50 portable b/w ultrasound with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
