Overview
This mobile X-ray machine is driven to the patient’s bedside for radiography in ICU, theatre, and on the wards, where moving a critically ill or immobile patient to a fixed X-ray room carries more risk than bringing the equipment to them. The counterbalanced tube arm extends and rotates around the bed to reach chest, abdominal, and skeletal positions, and the generator supports the exposure factors those examinations need.
It works with cassettes or a digital detector depending on configuration, and is a routine addition for hospitals running an intensive care unit.
Medix East Africa supplies the mobile x-ray machine with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
