Overview
This ultrasound printer connects directly to the video output of a scanner and produces a hard-copy print of the frozen image at the press of a button, giving the patient a copy of an obstetric scan or the referring clinician a printed record without a PACS workflow. The thermal print process needs no ink, cartridges, or chemicals, only a roll of thermal paper, which keeps running costs low and maintenance minimal.
Compact enough to sit on the scanner trolley, it is standard equipment in obstetric clinics, general ultrasound rooms, and private practice.
Medix East Africa supplies the ultrasound printer with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
