BGA 102Overview
The BGA-102 is a compact, maintenance-free blood gas and electrolyte analyzer that reports pH, pCO2, pO2, haematocrit, sodium, potassium, ionised calcium, chloride, glucose, and lactate simultaneously, plus 23 calculated parameters, from an 80 microlitre whole-blood sample drawn by syringe or capillary. Results are available in 30 seconds, and the unit holds 50,000 test records.
An 8-inch touchscreen with a built-in barcode scanner, a 58mm thermal printer, and wired, WiFi, and LIS connectivity handle reporting. At under 6.5kg with a lithium battery giving around 50 tests and 8 hours of backup, it suits emergency departments, ICU, theatre, and point-of-care testing.
