Overview
The Comen V2 is an intensive care ventilator built for continuous mechanical ventilation of adult and paediatric patients in ICU, HDU, and post-operative recovery. It offers volume and pressure controlled modes alongside SIMV, CPAP, and pressure support, with adjustable oxygen concentration and comprehensive monitoring of delivered volumes, pressures, and flow.
Graphic waveform and loop displays let clinicians assess lung mechanics and patient-ventilator interaction at the bedside, and a full alarm set covers pressure, volume, apnoea, and gas supply. It is used with a heated humidifier and standard adult or paediatric breathing circuits.
Medix East Africa supplies the comen v2 ventilator with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
