Overview
The Comen V3 is an intensive care ventilator with up to 12 ventilation modes, covering V-A/C, P-A/C, V-SIMV, P-SIMV, CPAP/PSV, DuoVent, APRV, PRVC, PRVC-SIMV, and volume support, so a unit can manage everything from fully controlled ventilation to weaning on a single platform. Oxygen concentration is adjustable from 21 to 100 percent, adult tidal volume ranges from 100 to 2200ml, and respiratory rate from 1 to 100 breaths per minute.
The advanced VS and PSV-S/T modes support spontaneous breathing during weaning. It is intended for ICU, HDU, and post-operative ventilation of adult and paediatric patients.
Medix East Africa supplies the comen v3 ventilator with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
