Overview
This electric ICU bed gives nursing staff motorised control over backrest, knee-rest, and height positioning, along with common critical-care positions such as Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg, to support patient comfort and pressure-injury prevention. Side rails, a CPR quick-release backrest, and castors with central locking are standard features for safe handling in a fast-paced ICU environment.
It is intended for intensive care units and high-dependency wards where patients need frequent repositioning and close nursing supervision.
Medix East Africa supplies the electric icu bed with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
