Overview
This hydraulic delivery bed supports labour, delivery, and post-partum positioning with a hydraulically adjustable height and backrest, giving midwifery and obstetric staff the range of motion needed to assist a birth safely and comfortably. Leg supports, side rails, and a removable end section are typical features that adapt the bed between labour, delivery, and general recovery use.
It is designed for maternity wards and delivery rooms where a dedicated obstetric bed, rather than a general hospital bed, is needed.
Medix East Africa supplies the hydraulic delivery bed with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
