Infant Incubator BIN-3000A

The BIN-3000A is a computer-controlled infant incubator holding a newborn in a stable thermal environment while it grows or recovers. Air temperature is servo controlled by computer, with both air mode and skin mode available so staff can regulate either the chamber or the baby's own skin temperature through a probe.

A full set of self-check alarms covers over-temperature in air and skin modes, high temperature, sensor accuracy and control faults. The humidity reservoir lifts out for cleaning, which matters because a warm humidified chamber is exactly where organisms will grow if the reservoir cannot be properly disinfected.

A transfusion shelf and tray are included, and an RS-232 connector allows connection to a monitoring or data system. An LED phototherapy unit is available as an option, so a baby needing treatment for jaundice does not have to be moved out of the incubator.
