Infant Incubator BIN-4000B

The BIN-4000B is the advanced incubator in the BIN range, adding controlled humidity and controlled oxygen concentration to air and skin temperature servo control. An LCD touchscreen displays temperature, humidity and oxygen concentration together, holds 72 hours of recorded data for review, and runs a full set of self-check alarms.

The double-walled hood reduces radiant heat loss from the baby, and two side doors open for access. A baby scale under the bed weighs the infant without removing it from the controlled environment — weight being the measurement that most directly tracks a preterm baby's progress — and an X-ray tray beneath the bed allows imaging in place.

An integration sensor box shows chamber temperature separately with an independent over-temperature alarm, so a single sensor failure cannot silently leave a baby too warm. Humidity is controlled up to 99 per cent RH from a removable reservoir, and an electronic lift is available as an option.
