Overview
This 5A oxygen concentrator supplies up to 5 litres per minute of oxygen-enriched gas to a single patient, covering the great majority of routine oxygen prescriptions on a ward or in home care without any cylinder handling or refilling. The molecular sieve separates nitrogen from ambient air continuously while the unit is powered, and an adjustable flowmeter with a humidifier bottle sets and conditions the delivered flow.
Oxygen purity monitoring and audible alarms for power failure and low purity give staff warning of a problem, and castors let the unit follow the patient between rooms.
