Phototherapy Light LED BBP-2000B

Mobile LED phototherapy unit for treating neonatal jaundice, with programmable intensity and an LCD timer.

Phototherapy Light LED BBP-2000BBBP-2000B

Overview

The BBP-2000B is a trolley-mounted LED phototherapy unit used to reduce bilirubin concentration in newborns with jaundice, delivering light at the wavelength that converts bilirubin in the skin into a form the infant can excrete. It comprises an LED lamp box with an integrated controller on a mobile stand, so staff can bring it to the cot, bassinet, or warmer rather than moving the baby.

An LCD shows treatment time and light intensity, and a programmable controller lets the unit run different intensities over set periods. LED emitters run cool and last far longer than fluorescent tubes. CE and ISO 13485 certified.

Medix East Africa supplies the phototherapy light led bbp-2000b with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.

After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region. Pricing is issued by formal quotation, because it depends on configuration, quantity, delivery terms and warranty.
