Overview
A step stool gives patients a stable intermediate step onto a hospital bed, delivery bed, or examination couch, reducing the strain of climbing and the risk of a fall during a transfer. The stainless steel frame and platform resist corrosion and stand up to repeated disinfection, and a ribbed rubber tread on the platform plus non-slip feet on the legs keep the stool and the patient’s footing secure under load.
Single and double-step versions are used across maternity units, outpatient clinics, imaging rooms, and general wards.
Medix East Africa supplies the step stool with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
