BPR-5V298Overview
The BPR-5V298 is a single tall glass-door refrigerator holding 2 to 8 degrees C across five shelves, for reagents, vaccines and pharmacy stock. Internal LED lighting switches on and off with the door and the glass front means stock can be read without opening the cabinet, which keeps the temperature stable.
Forced-air cooling over an air-cooled fin with auto defrost gives rapid recovery after the door is opened. The intelligent alarm system is both audible and visual, covering high and low temperature, power failure with battery backup, and sensor or thermostat failure.
For laboratories working towards accreditation, microprocessor control with a large LED digital display is paired with a USB port for downloading temperature data, and the door locks with a key. The interior is embossed aluminium sheet for easy cleaning and corrosion resistance, the exterior is cold-rolled steel with an anti-bacterial coating, and the cabinet runs on four universal castors with brakes.
