RPF 336Overview
The RPF 336 is a vertical plasma freezer built for blood banks, freezing and storing fresh frozen plasma at temperatures down to -40 degrees C even when the room itself sits at 32 degrees C. Deviation is held within 0.5 degrees C, and 80mm of CFC-free polyurethane insulation, a high-density insulated door and internal acrylic doors limit the temperature loss each time the cabinet is opened.
Capacity is 480 plasma bags across four adjustable drawers, each holding up to 120 bags, and the vertical format saves floor space in a crowded blood bank. Microprocessor control with an LED display puts all controls on the door at eye level, and eight hours of battery backup keeps the alarm, display and chart recorder running through a power cut.
Audio and visual alarms cover high and low temperature, power failure, low battery and door open, with a smart handle that indicates door state by LED and flicker-free internal lighting that comes on when the door opens. The cabinet runs on lockable heavy-duty swivel castors.
